Unpacking NumPy and Pandas: The Book Is Coming Soon!

I have heard from my publisher, Packt Publishing, that my video course Unpacking NumPy and Pandas will become a book!
The team at Packt will internally turn the video course into a book. This means there will be yet another format for people to learn from me about NumPy and Pandas.
I wrote the video course Unpacking NumPy and Pandas last year as the first of a series of video courses on using Python for data analysis. This course was intended for data analysis novices who needed to learn the basics of managing data in Python.
The course covers setting up a Python data analysis environment with Anaconda, and allied software such as MySQL. I also demonstrate how to use software provided with Anaconda such as Jupyter Notebooks and Spyder.
I then showed how to use NumPy and Pandas. NumPy gives Python data structures resembling mathematical matrices and allow Python to handle large amounts of data efficiently and quickly. Pandas gives Python data frames, and allows for better management of data. These libraries together are at the foundation of all data science with Python, so any aspiring data scientist must understand how to use them. The goal of the video course was to give viewers a basic understanding of how to use these libraries.
I am excited to hear that the course will be turned into a book. I personally am a huge fan of books, and if you are as well, perhaps consider buying the book when it goes on sale!
Stay tuned!
